BETHANY BEACH FARMERS’ MARKET – JUNE 23 2024 Market Report

Some Like it Hot – Some Not! Our favorite summer produce loves the heat, our farmers – not so much! The Market opened at 90 degrees and closed at a scorching 96! There was a breeze but coming from the West, as Henry commented, “it felt like someone breathing down your neck” – not at all refreshing. Our shoppers reflected the heat – they came early, and either disappeared into A/C or the still chilly Atlantic! Thank you to all who braved the heat – Vendors, Volunteers, and of course, our loyal Patrons!
