SOMEONE WAS SMILING ON OUR MARKET TODAY – THE THUNDER DID NOT ROLL IN UNTIL WE ROLLED OUT – JUST BARELY!
By Market Reporter Nancy
Our vendors reported another day of great crowds, and many sold out of produce. Cantaloupes were gone by 9:30, and flowers are flying fast this year for sure!
Bennett Orchards’ nectarines came in this week, and more are expected this coming week as well. They are Henry’s personal favorites – absolutely supercalifragilistic-scrumptious!
Should you happen to have a koi pond, Herbs, Spice…Nice has papyrus to enhance that beauty. Their papyrus is grown from a 40-year-old cutting from its native Egypt – no lie! Otherwise, one can make paper from papyrus – recipe to follow.
The next few weeks will be loaded with all of your favorite local produce – ENJOY!
