SUMMER AS FAR AS THE EYE CAN SEE!

The Bethany Market kicked off the 2019 season this Sunday with sunny skies, and serendipity.

We said a sad good bye this year to Wells Berry Farms. Yes, that old coot, Fred, is still kicking, but not hard enough to get his fabulous berries to us. You will be missed!

However, Bennett Orchards and Parsons Farms hope to have blueberries next Sunday – let’s hope Mother Nature shines on us.

Speaking of Parsons Farms, we are thrilled to welcome Scarlet, daughter of Brittany and Paul – rumor has it that she will make an appearance this summer.  Congrats!

Another warm welcome to Misty of Masterpiece Flowers! She offers beautiful snap dragons, rudbeckia, and my favorite – Scabicia!

Don’t miss the To Die For jams offered by Hudson’s Produce. Albert tells me when they are gone – they are gone, and he does not lie. I get many requests from folks in the depths of winter needing more – not gonna happen!

Next week we will have plenty of radishes, potatoes, onions, lettuce, cukes, squash, cherry tomatoes, and always the terrific baked goods by Old World Breads!!!

As always our Market is only locally grown. If you see Dave selling pineapples, by all means call us on that! Which means it may be a couple of weeks until our local produce starts coming in like crazy – be patient, it is worth waiting for.  In the meantime, we have much to offer!
