WITH THE SOLSTICE, AND FIREFLY FESTIVAL, SUMMER IS OFFICIALLY HERE!
Perfect weather greeted a perfect crowd. Cranky Bob, of Herbs, Nice and Everything Spice, commented on the abundance of smiles! Stop by next week and make him smile again!
EXCITING NEWS!!! PEACHES ARE STARTING TO COME IN!! Make no mistake, they will sell out early.
We are still in peak blueberry season – both Bennett’s and Parson’s should have plenty next week.
Honey Bee Lake Apiary will have their Independence Day Pies Sunday. Yes, the 4this right around the corner!
Davidson Exotic Mushrooms was missing their top-notch team this week as all were AWOL to Firefly. Their safe return is also anticipated. Pom-Poms, with their eerily distinct crab flavor have caught fire – luckily not literally! We will see them again Sunday, but they also sell quickly.

Ficner Farms tells me broccoli season will be coming to an end soon. Loretta shared this recipe for crust-less broccoli quiche.
1 head broccoli – break up and nuke in 1 tbsp of water for 2-3 mins.
Pam/oil pan and arrange broccoli.
Layer with 8 oz. of your favorite shredded cheese.
Whip 5 eggs and 1 cup ½ and ½ and pour over.
Bake at 350 degrees for ½ hour, or until set.
Sounds like a recipe even I can pull off. On my menu tonight – can’t wait!
Have a great week! We will look forward to seeing you Sunday!
Make sure you check out the photos from last week.
